Dr Amrish Krishnan, Fiji’s only Specialist Nephrologist, was ecstatic over the announcement of his appointment to head the new National Kidney Research and Treatment Centre. Minister for Economy and Attorney General Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum in announcing the allocation of $1million for the construction of the centre, said Dr Krishnan would be in charge of the centre. …
